I like the Royals to win this Opening Day match up against the Twins at home in what looks to be a very hopeful season with lots of young talent. Starting for the Royals today is Cole Ragans who did great for the Royals last season and was a breath of fresh air for their pitching staff. He posted a 2.64 ERA and struck out 89 batters across 72 innings. The Twins are starting Pablo Lopez who went 11-8 last season with 3.66 ERA. The Twins were dependent on their bullpen this season and its starting off the season a little shaken up and this is a boost for the Royals offense. The Royals bats can explode at any moment and with the Twins BP bruised up, it can happen any inning in this one. Line movement is in our favor and so is a fired up home crowd.
