Giants vs Commanders Prediction

The current betting odds have the Commanders listed as a 1.5 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The Commanders have a 0-1 record overall after losing their season opener on the road, but they have a lot of positives that they can take from that game. Jayden Daniels looked really good in his rookie debut and now he is coming back home against a weaker opponent. Meanwhile, the Giants are also 0-1 this season but they looked terrible in their season opener. They lost at home to the Vikings who aren't really much of a threat to win their own division this season, and they were blown out in that game 28-6. Daniel Jones looked terrible with 2 interceptions, and it didn't help that they lost talent in the off-season. With Saquon Barkley gone, they didn't have much of a run game and Jones just doesn't have the talent to do it himself. Jayden Daniels was a threat through the air and on the ground which is going to make this Washington offense difficult to defend. They also have a lot of talent for him to throw to and some solid running backs who give this offense many different ways to attack on the ground. Both teams lost in their season opener but the Giants looked helpless at home while the Commanders impressed on the road, even with their 17 point loss. The best way to place a bet here is on the Commanders to cover the spread in this game.
