Louisville vs UCF Prediction

The current betting odds have UCF listed as a 6.5 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. UCF played very well in their last game rolling over South Carolina State from the FCS with a very big win at home. They are back at home again here but this time they are getting a much better team in Louisville. This is a revenge game for UCF as well as they got embarrassed by Louisville last year blowing a lead late and going on to lose the game. Louisville was awful in their last game as they got crushed by Syracuse, only scoring 7 points in the game, and now they are on the road again in a much tougher place to play. Malik Cunningham didn't play great in that game and they need to put it together before they can roll over a team like UCF and that potent offense. UCF will be coming for their revenge here and they will continue to roll here at home with Louisville playing so badly to start the year. The best way to place a bet here is on UCF to cover the spread in this game.

Notable Quotes

“Obviously, very disappointed in how we came out and played tonight. We did not execute very well offensively with with some penalties that really hurt us. We get down in the red zone they're not getting into the end zone, you got to be able to get there.” - Scott Satterfield after his team’s loss against Syracuse in their last game.

"We need to improve. I told our team we did some really good things game one, but there's a lot of things we need to get corrected by game two. That's what we've been talking about. We're going to have to play good in all three phases to be able to win the game." - Gus Malzahn on his team coming into this game against Louisville.
