Arizona vs Utah Prediction

The current betting odds have Utah listed as an 8.5 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. Utah has looked really good in their games this season with their 4-0 record overall and their 1-0 conference record. They are already making a case for themselves as the best team in the Big 12 this season. They are coming off a big road win over a ranked Oklahoma State team, winning their first ever conference game as a Big 12 school, and now they are coming back home for their home opener in the Big 12. Their defense has looked great and their offense has looked a lot better this season, even with Rising still missing games. Meanwhile, Arizona has looked good in their games this season with their 2-1 record overall, but this isn't the same team that did so well last year. They lost their head coach Jedd Fisch to Washington and a lot of their players too. They are coming out of their bye week here which will help, but they are still going to be on the road in a really tough place to play with elevation. They are also coming off a road loss in their last one and didn't look good in that game, losing 31-7 to Kansas State, and even though that didn't count toward their conference schedule, they still lost big to a Big 12 opponent on the road. This will be a much tougher game for them against a better Utah team and Utah has their eyes set on winning the Big 12 Championship in their first season. The best way to place a bet here is on Utah to cover the spread in this game.

“Made that more dramatic than we needed to, but we handled it well and got the win. Proud of our guys. Didn't always play as smart as we needed to. Had a chance to put the game away completely, let them back in it.” - Kyle Whittingham after his team’s win against OK State in their last game.
