Tennessee vs Georgia Prediction

The current betting odds have Tennessee listed as a 9.5 point underdog in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. Tennessee has looked great in their games this season with their 8-1 record overall and their 5-1 conference record which has them right at the top of the SEC with one of the best records in the nation. They are also a ranked team and have put themselves in a good position to not only make the SEC Championship, but also the CFP. They are coming off another win in their last one against Mississippi State and their defense has looked great all season, not giving up many points in any of their games. Meanwhile, Georgia has looked good in their games this season with their 7-2 record overall and their 5-2 conference record which has them near the top of the SEC. They are still in the running for the SEC Championship and the playoffs, but they really can't afford to lose another game. They already have 1 loss against Alabama and they are coming off another loss in their last one, getting embarrassed on the road by Ole Miss in a 28-10 loss. Their defense has been good this season, but their offense hasn't looked great as it has been really up and down all year. They didn't show up last week against a weaker Ole Miss defense and now they have to play against Tennessee who might just have the best defense in the SEC with the points they have been giving up all year. Tennessee hasn't been putting up a ton of offense in their games this year, but their defense will be able to slow down this Georgia offense that hasn't looked great either, and that will keep Tennessee in this game with a chance to win. The best way to place a bet here is on Tennessee to cover the spread in this game.
