An inter conference matchup on the late game on TNT… except it is awful to prognosticate! The truth is today was the NBA Trade Deadline… That truth has left several parts of the Lakers roster in flux… they will be missing a starting PG, Starting SG, Possibly missing LeBron (who is listed as OUT) and possibly Antony Davis (who is listed as terrible). The Bucks will be missing PF Jae Crowder, PF/SF Bobby Portis, and SF Joe Ingles… some because they aren’t avail;able yet… some because they are hurt… but also Giannis and Brook Lopez are listed as Day to Day… sop who will possibly play??? For either side.  If I were the Lakers I would also rest LeBron if the roster isn’t complete,..., but does LeBron want to rest after beating the all-time scoring record AND winning the draft deadline?!! The Great betting opportunity here is worth absolutely only what the spread is worth. Can the 2nd place East team beat the 13th place West team… well yeah,,, but by 7 when not everyone is playing?

The Milwaukee Bucks have won 9 of their last 10 games. Going 6-4 ATS during that stretch.  They have beaten several LARGE point spreads during that time like -10.5 to the Pelicans or -11 to the Pistons. (both predicted here). The Bucks are the real deal in the East and only really have to worry about the Celtics. They won their last game against the Portland Trail Blazers 127-108. In the win they got 27 points form Brook Lopez and 24 points, 13 rebounds, and 8 assist from PF Giannis Antetokounmpo… That is the formula for a paint win.  The Bucks can also win with Middelton, Holiday , and Allen getting shots.  The Bucks are very good.

The Los Angeles Lakers have won 5 of their last 10 games.  They are on a 2-game losing streak… Yet during those losses they watched as PF/SF/PG LeBroon James (the goat) broke the all-time scoring record.  They then traded multiple times to get LeBron real, actual help in the event they can rise to a playoff team. The big problem with that is C Anthony Davis stinks. He is great, but he stinks.  When LeBron broke the record he wasn’t even looking in that direction… also his injury absences is why the Lakers are in 13th place. The Lakers definitely got better but if they don't gel soon?... They won’t be in the postseason.

An inter conference TNT matchup.. That has been turned on it’s ear by one team barely making a move but still remaining great… and another team making a ton of moves and could be great very soon.  However the East VS West matchup will feature a full strength Milwaukee team VS a half-strength Lakers team since all the roster players will not be playing … add to that that the Bicks are the better team to start and we have a drastic mismatch.

Blow Out Alert.  The Bucks entered this game as the second seed in the East.  The Lakers entered this game as the 13th seed… oh and the Lakers will have almost nobody playing for them at all.  Bet on the Bucks and watch as Middleton has his first 40+ point game of the season.
