An Eastern Conference all out war.  2-5 in the Eastern Conference of the NBA is bunched very tightly.  It is so close.  A game here and there would flip the script on all 4 teams. The Milwaukee Bucks are in 2nd place in the East.  They have done it by everyone on  the team getting on the back of PF Giannis Antetokounmpo and riding him to the finish line.  He actually dragged him to a Championship before.  At the moment the team has won their last two games WITHOUT GIANNIS… which is very encouraging.  Giannis has missed four games in a row… and the team is miraculously 2-2 during that stretch. Giannis is listed as Questionable for this one… and he will be needed.  The Cleveland Cavaliers won the offseason when they added SG Donovan Mitchell thru a trade.  Yes, the Jazz are the offseason’s other winner when SF Lauri Markkanen blossomed into a star… still, Donovan is the BEST played on this Cavs team that was already on the way up without Markkanen contributing last season. The Great Betting opportunity in this game is all about the injury list and the matchups.

The Milwaukee Bucks have won 6 of their last 10 games.  They are on a 2-game win streak.  They last beat the Toronto Raptors 130-122.  In the win they got 37 points, 5 rebounds, and 6 assists from PG Jrue Holiday… 25 points from SG Grayson Allen, and 19 points from C Brook Lopez.  They happily got 12 points, 12 rebounds from PF Bobby Portis which was needed since Brook Lopez only got 1 rebounds in his 29 minutes of play.  They desperately need Giannis to play in this game because the Raptors ARE NOT the Cavs.  The cavs have a big man playing in the big man spot.

The Cleveland Cavaliers have won 6 of their last 10 games. Going 5-4-1 ATS during that stretch. They lost their last game to the Memphis Grizzlies, who may be the league’s hottest team, 115-114.  Back breaking and soul crushing aside the Cavs played fantastic defense.  They got 24 points from Darius Garland and 23 points from Carus LaVert. The shocking thing about the Cavs coming within 1 point against the Grizzlies is that SG Donovan Mitchell missed the game with groin soreness.  He is listed as Questionable for this game, but the team knows just how important this game is… 1 win in the tightly bunched top of the East.. especially against another of the top teams could mean landing in 2nd place by Sunday morning.
