An Eastern Conference battle of winners. The Celtics are historically and currently winners. The Knicks are trying to get used to winning and occasionally stub their toe… as they always have. The great betting opportunity here is in deciding if the Celtics can cover this small spread While missing SG Jalen Brown. It’s a harder question than you might imagine since the Celtics are so deep at guard. It is also tough to answer since the Knicks big men are technically a little better than the Celtics big men. They won their last game against the New Orleans Pelicans 128-106. In the win they got 28 points from RJ Barrett, 25 points from PF Julius Randle, and 20 points from PG Jalen Brunson… PLus those three combined for 12 rebounds, and 17 assists. Bench SG/SF Josh Hart was worth 15 points in 25 minutes on a great shooting night. The Knicks definitely have a formula for winning.

The reason the Celtics did not win last season’s Finals was simply that Tatum couldn’t score when the games got tight. Will it be different this season?
Knicks: PF Julius Randle. Julius was disrespected early in his career. Released by the Lakers to make room for Anthony Davis’s salary… when all the while LeBron would have done better if they simply kept Brandon Ingram and Julius Randle and all those picks! We could seriously be talking about LeBron approaching his 7th ring…. Had he seen how special Julius was/is.
