Timberwolves vs Warriors Prediction

The current betting odds have the Timberwolves listed as a 5 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. This is game 3 of a 7 game series between the 6th seeded Timberwolves and the 7th seeded Warriors from the Western Conference for the 2nd round of the NBA playoffs. This series is all tied up 1-1 after the Timberwolves won game 1 at home. The Timberwolves made it a 1-1 series with a 117-93 win over the Warriors in the 2nd game of this series and they really took advantage of a Warriors team that was missing their best player, Steph Curry. They were up by double digits in the 1st quarter and never really looked back as they were in complete control of the game. Now they are going on the road for the next 2 games in this series, but Curry could still be out for this next game and that is going to be a big blow to this Warriors lineup. The Warriors offense was a lot worse without Curry in the last game and as good as their defense has been in the playoffs, the Timberwolves have many different players that can contribute to the offense. The Timberwolves have also lost the home advantage in this series now from their loss in game 1 so they are going to be looking to steal this first road game, and they are going to bring their best effort to try and take advantage of a Warriors team still missing Curry. The Timberwolves are in a better situation here with the healthier team and they showed in the last round that they can go on the road and win in the playoffs. The best way to place a bet here is on the Timberwolves to cover the spread in this game.
