They lost their season opener on the road against the Colorado Avalanche 4-2 and will be on the road again in this game which is the 2nd game of a 3 game road trip to start their season off. The Blackhawks already got their nerves out of the way with their first game and they should be warmed up for this one after playing a real game 2 days ago. They still have some good offense and defensemen on their side, not to mention a solid goalie that will have their back. The best bet to place in this game is on the Blackhawks to come away with the win in this one as they are more warmed up and ready for this game than the Devils.

New Jersey Devils: Dougie Hamilton is one player to watch here. He was signed to a big 7 year contract in the offseason and he will be a key piece for their defense going forward this season. Look for him to play some good defense and help keep the Blackhawks out of the net in this one..
