Orioles vs Twins Prediction

The current betting odds have the Twins listed as a favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The Twins have been playing a lot better lately as they have boosted themselves over .500 once again and are in the lead of the AL Central. They have been a lot better in their home games this season and they just won their series against the Orioles last week on the road. The Orioles really haven't been any better since that series though as they have slipped into a mini slump lately and haven't been at their best. The Twins will be looking to take advantage of that now that they are the home team in this series and they do have a better pitching matchup here. The Twins are going with Ober in this game and he has been a solid starter for them this season since he hasn't been giving up many runs in his starts but he also shut down the Orioles lineup just last week on the road and will now be looking to do the same at home here. Meanwhile, the Orioles have Irvin starting and he has been terrible in most of his starts this season. He pitched well in his last start but that has been the exception not the rule for him since he has been giving up a ton of runs in a majority of his starts all year and he is not going to pitch any better in this road game with the Twins playing a lot better now. The Twins have some momentum now from their sweep over the Royals and will be looking to finish on a big run before the All-Star break. The best way to place a bet here is on the Twins to win this game.
